About UsRelationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) is a leading provider of relationship and family support services.  We believe healthy relationships are essential for the well-being of children, families and communities.  We are committed to offering the best possible counselling, mediation, education and support services, and are committed to social justice and inclusion.  Find out more about our values, benefits and employee experience by watching this video!About the RoleWe are currently seeking applications for the multiple permanent full time (37.5 hours per week) roles of Senior Practitioner to work within Virtual Services located at Eight Mile Plains venue.The purpose of this position is to support all VS  team members in the provision of quality service by providing first level escalation support and advice as well as, be responsible for contributing to continuous improvement activities and employee development.The key responsibilities of this position include:Work collaboratively with Virtual Services (VS) employees, the VS leadership team and Clinical Supervisors, to ensure effective management of risk and Duty of Care (DOC) issues, in accordance with applicable DOC proceduresSupport practitioners, TIRO’s and TDRS AO’s in the provision of quality service by providing immediate advice and first level escalation supportMonitor, assess and provide feedback and one-on-one coaching on call quality using organizationally endorsed assessment tools and templates, and refer improvement areas and provide concerns to the relevant Reporting ManagerCarry a 33% case load, or as allocated by the SM (Support Manager) and take calls, particularly during peak periods, to increase service flexibility and capacity in responding to call demandContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including assisting in the implementation of key process improvement and service capability development initiativesDesign and deliver high quality training for new and existing employees that aligns with RAQ best practice standardsSenior Practitioners may be required to provide rostered, out-of-hours (including 24/7) on-call support to staff and require availability for rostered shifts including weekends and outside standard business hours.About You To be successful in this position, you will have.An undergraduate qualification in Social or Behavioural Science, Social Work, Psychology or LawDemonstrated experience as a practitioner within a counselling or family dispute resolution roleProven experience in handling high risk clients and applying appropriate clinical judgement.Strong understanding of Family Law, family dispute resolution and counselling theory and practice, and ability to apply this knowledge to RAQ programs and servicesSound knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g. Family Law Act, Child Protection Act, Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act.What We Can Offer YouThe salary being offered is between $101,202.61 to $114,017.97 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.
