Project Manager – Finance Systems Specialist

This is your chance to join a progressive NFP with a great company culture and take ownership of a key role managing the Financial project implementation.About the roleWe are currently seeking applications for a full-time, 6-month fixed term role (37.5 hours per week) of a Project Manager – Finance Systems Specialist located at our Support Services in Eight Mile Plains for an ASAP start. This role will lead a critical project that transforms RAQ's finance system over three phases. Primary responsibilities of the role are overseeing and leading solution selection, testing, implementation, associated process redesign, change management for RAQ’s finance teams and their key stakeholders, to develop and transform sector leading financial practice at RAQ. While the engagement is for an initial 6 months, there is strong likelihood of extension pending performance and funding availability. Other duties include:Management of assigned projects end to end and lead and co-ordinate multiple stakeholder groups that contribute to the project across geographically dispersed locations.Provide leadership in the finance team in investigating, adapting, and implementing process changes to introduce real business benefits from system changesChampion the introduction of financial best practice processes across all three project phasesIn collaboration with the Business Transformation (BT) Program Team, assist in the collation and creation of finance, performance, benefits and resourcing reports to the BT Steering Committee, BT Operational Committee, and the Board.About YouYour experience and deep understanding of financial system project implementation and change methodologies will be critical to your success.
