Relationships are at the heart of what we do.About the roleWe’re accepting applications for a 12 month fixed contract part-time (48 hours per fortnight) Payroll Officer to work in a combination of remote and in office (Eight Mile Plains) delivery.Work hours will be spread over 3 to 5 days of the work week, however some flexibility may be required to meet operational demands.In this fixed term position, you’ll support an established and supportive team to provide critical project support, as well as contribute to fortnightly payroll runs for around 480 employees.  The role includes administrative functions, reporting requirements in line with relevant legislation and ATO directives. The main responsibilities of this role include:Point of contact for payroll enquiries, provide advice and interpretation of RAQ’s Enterprise Agreement, HR policies and procedures.Process requests and file documentation relating to new starters, terminations, work pattern changes, reimbursements and ad hoc payments related to project work.Provide advice and respond to internal and external payroll enquiries from Centrelink, superannuation funds and RAQ’s salary packaging provider.Update and maintain payroll systems and records to ensure compliance with the RAQ Enterprise Agreement, legislative standards, funding body requirements and RAQ policy.About youAs a Payroll professional, you’ll have at least two years’ experience processing payroll for 100+ employees.  In your application we’d love to hear about your experience in:Recent and relevant experience working with Aurion PayrollInterpreting workplace agreements/awardsExcellent time management and accuracy skillsThe full time, annual equivalent base salary for the role is between $66K - $72,325.50K (pro rata).Interested?To apply, send us your resume and a cover letter, outlining your demonstrated experience in each area.
