About UsRelationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) is a leading provider of relationship and family support services.  We believe healthy relationships are essential for the well-being of children, families and communities.  We are committed to offering the best possible counselling, mediation, education and support services, and are committed to social justice and inclusion.  We provide services from more than 30 centres and employ over 400 employees across Queensland. About the RoleWe are currently seeking applications for the permanent part-time (33.75 hours per week) role of Family Information Officer based at our Upper Mount Gravatt venue.The purpose of this position is to assess the needs of RAQ clients, provide quality information, and refer them to appropriate services within the Family Relationship Centre (FRC), other RAQ services, and to relevant external service providers.The key responsibilities of this position include:Conduct a brief assessment and screening of the client’s needs in order to make appropriate referrals, provide quality information and make client bookingsProvide clients with information about the services RAQ provides, as well as other services available to them in the communityMaintain appropriate financial records and, where required, pay creditors and follow up unpaid client accountsProvide administrative and general office support to the venue, including typing and photocopying as requiredMaintain and support team to build stakeholder referral pathways and relationships to support service delivery needsWorkdays/hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant, expectation to do one late night shift per week, 12:00pm to 8:00pm.About YouTo be successful in this position, you will possess:Relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications, for example Certificate III or above in Business Administration is highly desired.Demonstrated experience in client service and/or administration, and experience working effectively in a high-volume team environment.Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and be competent in computer use (Microsoft Office, email, web-based programs).Have the ability to learn new programs and applications paired with effective time management, attention to detail, prioritising and organisation skills.Experience in engaging proactively and respectfully with clients and stakeholders  of diverse backgrounds.Experience working in community sector and with complex clients is highly desired.The salary being offered is $57,271.50 to $62,536.50 per annum pro rata, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.What We Can Offer YouWork-life balance and flexible working hoursAdditional annual leave over the Christmas period, annual leave loading and study leaveA supportive team environment and opportunity for professional developmentSalary packaging options available of up to $15,900, which will significantly increase the value of take-home payPaid parental leave and additional benefits such as medical insurance discountsHow to Apply To apply, send us your resume and a cover letter, outlining your demonstrated experience in each area.
