Note that the team work predominantly in the Brisbane / Gold Coast region.The purpose of this position is to train, monitor and support practitioners to ensure they deliver safe, high quality practice. This will entail providing clinical supervision (including e.g., administrative functions, clinical skill training, competency based and constructive feedback on skills, and evaluation of competencies) and may provide training activities and involves the dissemination of Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) values with respect to professional practice and ethics. It is a leadership and developmental position.The key responsibilities of this position include:Provision of accountable, competent and effective clinical supervision to clinical employees.Supervise new clinical employees or employees new to a program through to probationary review and assist them to demonstrate effective evidence-based practice that is client centered and efficient.In collaboration with the relevant managers, ensure ethical and professional practice compliant with RAQ mission, ethics, policies and procedures.Participate in the review of the quality of clinical work within all RAQ programs.Work collaboratively with the Head of Practice, Team Leaders, Regional Managers, and the Human Resources Team to assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans and engagement with managing unsatisfactory performance processes for clinical employees.Liaise with content experts to ensure that clinical practice being delivered reflects best practice.Communicate regularly and effectively with the Head of Practice, Team Leaders, Regional Managers, the People and Culture Group, and the Client Outcomes Manager by maintaining regular reporting, including relating to probation and clinical reviews of supervisees’ practice, clinical employee competencies, compliance, and matters pertaining to concerns of performance.Identify practitioner learning requirements and provide training to develop practitioner skills and knowledge with consultation supervisee’s Team Leader and/or the Head of Practice, and the Learning and Development Team.About You To be successful in this position, you will possessUndergraduate degree in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work or other appropriate Human Services/Social Science/Health/LawFormal qualifications or training in Supervision - such as Australian Psychology Board STAP qualifications or other supervision training program.Minimum five year’s relevant experience in the human services area (e.g. Psychology, Mediation, Counselling, Social work).Experience supervising Psychologist, Counsellors, Mediators, Social Worker or other similar Human Service/Social Science/Health, allied health workers.Knowledge of and ability to apply evidence-based practices relevant to RAQ services.Demonstrated experience in engaging proactively with and supporting clients of diverse backgrounds.Knowledge of the legal, ethical and practice standards environment e.g. HSQF, ISO 9001: 2015; Family Law Act, Child Protection Act, Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act.The salary being offered is $91,942.50 to $ 103,642.50 per annum pro rata, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.What We Can Offer YouWork-life balance and flexible working hoursAdditional annual leave over the Christmas period, annual leave loading and study leaveA supportive team environment and opportunity for professional developmentSalary packaging options available of up to $15,900, which will significantly increase the value of take-home payPaid parental leave and additional benefits such as medical insurance discountsHow to ApplyClick Apply now to send us your resume and a cover letter outlining your demonstrated experience.Applications close at 4pm on 15 December 2021.HR - PD - Clinical Supervisor AUD Brisbane 4000
