We are currently seeking applications for the permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week) of Children’s Contact Service (CCS) Statewide Coordinator.The purpose of this position is to support the program coordination and development of the Children’s Contact Service (CCS) in compliance with organisational policies and procedures. This role will provide support to all of RAQ’s state-wide CCS programs, reviewing efficiencies across services including improving waitlists, data collection and outputs for each location with the goal improving outcomes for all existing RAQ CCS services. The key responsibilities of this position include:Applying theoretical models of supportive human interaction, developmental stages of children, conflict resolution, and other relevant frameworks when working with children, parents, whilst maintaining child inclusive practiceProvide support to Children Contact Service (CCS) teams by way of appropriate interventions throughout a client's engagement and link clients to a treatment planProvide support state-wide consistency around providing a safe and appropriate environment for families which maximises parent/child interaction and engages children in an interesting, safe and positive mannerAnd more. Workdays/hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant. however please note some flexibility needed in order to meet business requirements.About You To be successful in this position, you will have:Undergraduate qualifications in the social or behavioural sciences, with studies in child development preferrable.Demonstrated experience in process development and implementation specific to counselling or similar programs.Demonstrated experience working with children and their parents/carers and theoretical knowledge of the issues regarding child development, abuse and/or neglect; and experience working with people in crisis and/or parents in conflict.Demonstrated experience in engaging proactively with and supporting clients of diverse backgrounds (Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, low socioeconomic status, people with disabilities and people of diverse bodies, genders and sexualities).Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a Senior First Aid Certificate.What We Can Offer You!The salary being offered is between $101,202.61 to $114,017.97 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.
