About the role
Are you passionate about driving excellence and accountability in quality, risk, and compliance? Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) is seeking a proactive and experienced Quality, Risk and Compliance (QRaC) Auditor to join our dynamic Support Services team at Eight Mile Plains. Reporting directly to the Head of QRaC, you’ll take the lead in developing, implementing, and enhancing RAQ’s internal and external audit programs. This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic insight into compliance risks, ensure robust alignment with legislative, contractual, and accreditation standards (including ISO 9001:2015 and the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF), and Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing (WHSW)), and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. If you are committed to promoting best practices and maintaining high standards within a values-driven organisation, we want to hear from you!
Additionally, you will:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of RAQ’s internal and external audit framework, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, HSQF, and WHWS standards.
- Conduct thorough audits of RAQ’s quality management and WHSW systems, internal practices including payroll and finance, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support the creation, review, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and documentation to uphold RAQ’s compliance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to embed corrective actions and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes to inform audit scope and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Provide clear and insightful reporting to senior management on audit outcomes, risks, and progress against corrective actions.
About you
You are a detail-oriented and strategic thinker with a strong commitment to quality, risk management, and compliance. You thrive in dynamic environments where you can lead audit processes, influence positive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. With excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you confidently build trusted relationships across all organisational levels and are motivated to uphold the highest standards of governance and accountability.
Additionally, you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Quality, Risk, Compliance, WHS, or a related discipline.
- Certification as a Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, HSQF) and/or WHS certification (minimum Certificate IV).
- Proven experience in planning and conducting internal and external audits, particularly in regulated or multi-site environments.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislative, contractual, and accreditation standards, including ISO 9001:2015 and HSQF.
- Exceptional analytical, report writing, and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and operational teams to drive compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
